Louise Reeves’ hair colouring tutorial is a circular technique based 4cm from the crown area, first using fine diagonal sections from her circle perimeter section, working around the circle section up to the center top area, pre-lightening with bleach to lift to warm gold. Louise then selects and applies the base colour to complement model Olga's skin tone and add definition to the perimeter inbetween the pre-lightened areas and the remaining outline shape.

Finally Louise adds a combination of plum violet, amethyst blue and midnight blue to the pre-lightened areas to achieve a rich base of plum violet with a circular band of reflective, cool aqueous tones providing dappled overtones and defining movement.
