Bastian defines the back internal shape by flat layering, with over-direction through to the side areas and back to maintain the established front outline, ensuring a soft, loose outline throughout the perimeter in the back.

Bastian softens the corners and connections with freehand techniques. This allows the movement around the perimeter and the internal shape to be consistent, giving this soft shape the swing it deserves.
