Make-up artist Paul Seaman guides you through a fashion make-up look, in collaboration with Tim Hartley and Tracy Hayes. Paul demonstrates a perfect balance between highlighting the contours of the eye and brow bone and the dark triangle area to place depth and definition, with the seamless blend of grey and blue tones.
Paul elongates and extends the brow area, framing the eye with added lashes to expose the corner of the eyes to achieve a beautiful expression of shape colour and shine inspired by the iconic Twiggy Vogue cover by Barry Lategan. Further references and inspiration come from Comme des Garçon and the ground breaking Biba make-up looks of the 1970s. Paul's pastel palette contrasts with Tracy’s bold and vibrant colour placement to produce a finished result with a hint of doll like innocence.
The final image was taken by the legendary Vogue photographer Barry Lategan himself.
This video is an ideal starting point for those looking for inspiration or planning a photographic shoot or catwalk show.
