Tracy Hayes’ colouring tutorial maintains a natural look, but with lots of shine and added depth to the hair. To enhance the balance of the haircut it was decided to keep it darker on the perimeter, and add a slightly lighter and warmer tone on the top. When doing a two-tone tint it is important that the sectioning does not create a line of colour through the hair, so a star shape section around the head was used to ensure that the two colours diffused together.

Tracey demonstrates this permanent two-tone tint hair colouring using techniques including block colour and multi-colour block tinting.
