Roy Hayward is at the forefront of British hairdressing, his career spanning 30 years. As an educator, he draws on a wealth of expertise he gained in the salon, on the runway and on a host of prestigious photographic assignments.  From being an apprentice in Leeds to spending five years in Paris, Roy learned the value of a rigorous training, mastering the art of precision cutting and hair design. Later, his years backstage on the runway circuit for Michaeljohn would take him global. Working alongside Guido Palau and renowned designers and photographers, he contributed to countless magazines and advertising campaigns.   Now he shares his knowledge with industry professionals, ensuring the highest standards of hairdressing education. His seminars aim to stimulate and inspire, promoting technical simplicity, creativity and meticulous craftsmanship. Roy's first book, Technique, was published in 2008. Visit his website
