Paul Phillips is a rising star of British hairdressing and has assisted Stacey Broughton at MHD shoots and Stacey’s shows and workshops. Paul is passionate about all aspects of hairdressing from cutting, colouring and dressing and his infectious enthusiasm for the craft was one of the first things Stacey noticed about him. His work spans salons, editorial shoots and catwalk shows and he has been a finalist in both the Wella Trend Vision Awards and Redken New York City competition, rising above many more established and experienced hairdressers. As a salon manager Paul oversees the training of his staff at his own salon Chopp, taking them from assistant to stylist and has an in-depth understanding of the current UK educational requirements and curriculum. Paul has been introduced to MHD to assist Stacey at shoots and provides valuable feedback into our salon basic hair training from a salon perspective. MHD is committed to supporting the development of young stylists into world class hairdressers and Paul’s first video for MHD is just a taster of things yet to come.
