Overview

Stacey Broughton's haircut starts with the perm and texture first, which allows you to assess the texture fully when working this very simple horizontal graduated technique.

The key to this shape is the definition of the elevation, with the texture from the firmer curl supporting the looser finger wave movement through the top area. This is elevated and over-directed down to achieve a graceful, graduated silhouette. The final result is a shape that is pure in form but simple and natural.
