Tracy Hayes spent many successful years at Vidal Sassoon as UK Creative Colour Director. She was responsible for coaching and mentoring the internationally renowned specialised colouring teams. Being based at the Advanced Academy in London meant that Tracy also played a pivotal role in the development and delivery of the world famous Sassoon seasonal collections, and was heavily involved in the production of the Vidal Sassoon Educational DVDs, demonstrating a vast range of colour techniques.

Tracy was appointed by Schwarzkopf as Global Colour Ambassador, a position she fulfilled to an exceptional standard from 2004 – 2006, particularly in the development and reformulation of the “Igora” product line, creating step-by-step books, and hosting and teaching at Seminars all over Europe. Tracy has also worked closely with Tim Hartley at Salon International and on the Alternative Hair Show London.

Tracy Hayes embodies the very essence of the consummate hair colouring professional, inhabiting as she does an environment where technical expertise, creative excellence and individual flair are de rigeur. 

Her résumé embraces every facet of the hair industry, creating consumer looks in salons, educating in schools and academies globally, as well as working on stage at the biggest hair shows on the planet. The number of shows in which she has been instrumental runs into hundreds, the number of hair professionals she has influenced is countless. All this is accomplished with her unique perspective as one of the world's foremost authorities on hair colour. 

Currently based at the exclusive salon Real Hair in London's Chelsea shopping district, Tracy's understated approach endears her to everyone. She revels in working with the team and establishing an instinctive rapport with the regular clients of the salon, Tracy believes that, ‘the creative energy begins at salon floor level’.
