News - Vidal Sassoon Interview Launches New Feature

On Friday 20 May, MyHairDressers.com is launching a new Hairdressers Interviews Section on the website, beginning with the World's most iconic hairdresser, Vidal Sassoon talking to John Vial of realhair.

MyHairDressers.com was granted this exclusive interview at Vidal's London home and comes just as Vidal Sassoon The Movie has its UK premier. Andrew Gilbert, Creative Director of MyHairDressers.com, filmed the interview on Thursday 12 May and has spent the last week furiously editing the footage into what we believe to be an inspirational insight into the mind and career of one of the world's most successful and revolutionary hairdressers.

Vidal Sassoon played a key role in the 1960s cultural revolution and was a major figure in the the London fashion and music that defined the Swinging Sixties. He went on to build a string of Vidal Sassoon salons and Academies around the world, educating and working with many of the greatest names in modern hairdressing and spreading an influence that still lasts today.

The video will debut on Friday 20 May 2011 in a new section on MyHairDressers.com - Interviews, which will host a wide range of inspirational interviews from leading hairdressers and contributors to MyHairDressers.com. The interview series has been designed to offer inspiration and motivation to visitors to our site, and unlike our hairdressing training videos will be totally free and accessible to anybody visiting the site.
