News - Tim & Tracy Combine Forces

One of the most widely respected and highly regarded hairdressers in the world, Tim Hartley has spent two days in the new MyHairDressers.com studios bringing you his own brand of hairdressing skills to relish and absorb.

Tim’s recorded two haircuts, to be released over the coming months - a mid-length graduated shape and a long layered shape. Each haircut has been coloured by his great friend and collaborator, and MyHairDressers.com favourite, Tracy Hayes.

Tim spent over 35 years working with Vidal Sassoon, reaching the top position of International Creative Director before going freelance and this year he has been nominated as Hairdresser of the Year at the British Hairdressing Awards, to be held in November.

Paul Pruchnik, Assistant Artistic Director at Chelsea’s realhair salon, ably assisted Tim throughout the day while Tracy brought along her Senior Colour Assistant Chanel Nott, also from realhair, to help out.

At the end of a busy first day, Tim told us, “It’s been a great day working in the MyHairDressers.com studios. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I’ve had a good time and a great experience. It’s important to teach and pass skills on to as many people as possible and online education such as MyHairDressers.com is the future for reaching people who would otherwise be denied quality education.”

Tracy completed the looks with a fusion of reds and a blend of coppers and blondes. Tracy said, “It’s always a pleasure and inspirational working with Tim as we’re both great believers in education and MyHairDressers.com is a great tool to share ideas.”
