News - Stockport College Partnership Announced

Stockport College has struck a unique partnership with MyHairDressers.com, the foremost international online educational resource for the hairdressing industry. Our contributors are among the best-known and most widely respected experts in the industry, and Stockport College hairdressing specialists Tracey Sajno and Graham Oglesby have joined the team to produce regular training videos for the site.  

The College’s hairdressing tutors are amongst the best in the country. Colourist Tracey has over 13 years of experience in working for Vidal Sassoon salons across the UK and Europe. Graham equally started his career at Vidal Sassoon in the 80s in Manchester, working with an impressive list of local music industry clients such as Morrissey and Tony Wilson before moving across the Atlantic teaching and performing at shows for the likes of L’Oreal, Wella and Goldwell.  

Graham and Tracey made their debut on MyHairDressers.com by transforming no other than UK Celebrity Big Brother contestant Katia Ivanova’s hair. In the future the pair will be helping MyHairDressers.com in the development of their training materials, and aligning it within curriculum standards of hairdressing teaching at Stockport College, which is graded Outstanding by Ofsted. 

Graham said: “We have a really strong team at Stockport College. We moved in five years ago and helped to achieve an Outstanding grade from Ofsted for Hairdressing. Discovering MyHairDressers.com was fantastic because now I know I have a great resource in the classroom – it talks my language, it reinforces and backs up my approach to hairdressing.”  Tracey added: “I’ve followed MyHairDressers.com for the last couple of years and there’s been massive growth. I love it, and it’s great to be a part of it. Ultimately our aim is to create a Hairdressing Academy that becomes a centre of excellence for MyHairDressers.com.”
