Graham Oglesby’s salon creative haircut is a low graduated bob with disconnection and soft rounded fringe. This tutorial follows on from Richard Ashforth’s Disconnected Asymmetric Bob tutorial, but works a low graduated shape throughout the back area on both sides using rounded sectioning from behind the ear to the center, which is great way to start any graduated shape.

The internal shape is placed in the side areas using the cross-checking angle and over-direction. Following this strategy allows you to refine your outline shape in the side areas afterwards to suit the client’s bone structure.

The fringe/bangs area is layered to create a soft rounded full fringe then the internal shape is layered in place. Overhanging hair is cut freehand to enhance texture around the outline graduation, to produce a low graduated shape with a mass of texture and playful internal shape.
