Bastian Casaretto’s salon classic haircut begins a round graduated technique in the back area starting from behind the ears with diagonal sections. This allows you to create a build up of weight in the crown area to enhance the head shape.
A flatter layered shape in the side areas is created using the top point in the graduation from the back as a guide, leaving the option for a softer area in the outline towards the face.
Working horizontal sections on one side and vertical sections on the other side connects the top area. This allows more movement in the top area with a steeper crown for added versatility, which is key in this short shape.
