Stacey Broughton's salon classic haircut starts with the perm and texture first, this allows you to assess the texture fully when working this very simple horizontal graduated technique. Begin in the perimeter at the back area working a curved line with tension and progressing to elevation further working up the head. This continues with maintained control the shape with horizontal section in to the side areas.The key to this shape is the definition of the elevation, with the texture from the firmer curl supporting the looser finger wave movement through the top area. This is elevated and over-directed down to achieve a graceful, graduated silhouette. The final result is a shape that is pure in form but simple and natural.
