In 2011 the MyHairDressers.com Licensing Model was launched to develop the global potential of the business model. Licensees are at the core of our international expansion plan.

We are appointing a Worldwide network of Licensees to own and manage a localised MyHairDressers.com website within a Licensed territory. Each site is modified to address local market needs such as local news, language, and so on. As a Licensee, you do not have to be a web developer or designer as all of these functions are carried out centrally by Head Office. Your role as the Licensee is entirely focused on the management of your local site and the development of the subscriber base through sales and marketing activity.  

The MyHairdressers.com License Model was developed in consultation with The Franchise Company - a leading firm of specialist franchise consultants affiliated to the British Franchise Association. The Franchise Company was established in 1991 and has worked with many leading UK franchisors. We also appointed leading UK law firm Hamilton Pratt to ensure that our control agreements and practices were inline with the British Franchising Association Code of Ethics.

To assist us in our export plan, MyHairDressers Ltd is working closely with the UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) and with the British Chamber of Commerce, which are both helping us develop our research strategy and market intelligence.

MyHairDressers.com is the first and only hairdressing training website to offer translated content, beginning in the Middle East in Arabic in May 2011. This was followed by Korean at the end of 2011, and we have new Licenses in Russia, Benelux, China, Italy and Greece/Cyprus to follow throughout 2012. Our Licensee network in crucial to delivering our content in local languages to enable as many hairdressers around the world to benefit from the in-depth training available. We have a variety of tools, resources and technology available for translating the content, from subtitling to full voice overs of videos.
