Bastian Casaretto's salon creative haircut tutorial starts this simple salon friendly shape in the internal crown area using vertical sections and following the head shape. This central section is the guide from which the complete haircut can be shaped in many different ways depending on face shape, bone structure, hair length and texture.

Having completed the internal shape, the internal perimeter shape is graduated to support the soft outline, with over-direction worked into the sides, which is key to the A-line shape. A strong fringe area is then placed on the bridge of the nose to open up the cheek area for suitability.

Finally, the front top sections are sliced cut from the crown to achieve a salon friendly shape combining elements of layering, graduation and over-direction to create a strong internal head shape with a versatile outcome to suit your clientele.
