Almost as soon as Andrew Gilbert had packed up his cameras from the latest video shoot, he was hopping onto the Eurostar to join old friend Tim Hartley for the Icons Show in Paris.

Tim was appearing alongside Anthony Moscolo and Robert Lobetta, making this the hottest ticket in Paris last weekend. Andy joined Tim backstage and on stage in front of 4500 spectators, assisting Tim as he demonstrated a beautiful collection drawn from throughout his 25 year heritage as International Creative Director for Vidal Sassoon, along with more of his always groundbreaking new shapes. 

Tim's collection offered something for everyone drawing inspiration from the Bauhaus movement for some technical art based shapes, alongside a more feminine, glamorous showing inspired by the Mad Men TV show and a New Wave set featuring shapes with shorter crowns and longer levels. 

Andy told us, "Mondial Coiffure is a huge show, with 85,000 visitors from around the world and to be onstage with three of the biggest names in the industry was truly an honour. Tim, Robert and Anthony are legendary hairdressers and to see the three together is a treat for any hairdresser wanting to be inspired and overawed by their sheer artistry. 

"The show was a terrific opportunity to talk to many subscribers of MyHairDressers.com and to get a global perspective of how the site is changing the face of hairdressing training.
