Stacey Broughton's head block haircut is the halo, a pure technique starting in the nape area using curved sectioning up towards the ear. These sections slowly work to a horizontal plane as you move up the head-shape towards the crown, using a cutting comb as a guide and minimal tension. At the crown area, work with diagonal sections into the side areas and continue the outline toward the chin. This controls the positioning of the hair over the ear area.

Next the fringe - a small triangle section is taken, then sub-divided horizontally then cut on the brow area working a square line. The front side connection is then taken from the side outline up to the fringe area, allowing the line to softly blend and round into both areas to achieve a naturally curved perimeter with clear crisp lines from the fringe and back outline lengths.
