Our studios officially opened their doors today for the beginning of an eight-day shoot, with two fantastic hairdressers to kick off the proceedings.

We are extremely pleased that Aveda’s Artistic Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Bastian Casaretto, flew in from Berlin to join us for two days and shoot four amazing hair-cutting videos. Each haircut was suitably and artistically coloured by Bruno Ellorrioroz, Master Technical Director of London’s Aveda Institute. This is the first time the pair has worked together, despite both working with Aveda, albeit in different countries.

Bastian told us, “It’s been nice to work with a European team with one vision. I’ve enjoyed coming into MyHairDressers.com and seeing some old friends. It’s been lovely.”

Paris born Bruno said ”It’s been a good experience and I’ve really enjoyed it. This is the first time I’ve worked with Bastian and it’s interesting to see how he works. There’s been an interesting exchange of ideas and as I’m going to be working more with the European team at Aveda, it’s good to see a preview of the diversity. The shoot has been a lot of hard work, but constructive and very enjoyable.”
