News - MyHairDressers.com is 4 Years Old

This weekend MyHairDressers.com celebrates its 4th birthday. On January Friday 12 2007, we launched the site with Stacey Broughton's Pure Angles video and a promise to deliver four new hairdressing training videos every single month. We've kept our promise and this week we release video number 192, another amazing Stacey Broughton hairdressing tutorial - Commercial Long Layered Shape. 

Things have changed dramatically since 2007 and MyHairDressers.com is a different company now, but it's core ethos remains unchanged- to deliver the best hairdressing training, around the clock at an affordable price to anyone with an internet connection. Of course, we've now expanded that access to mobile phones too! We've also seen the original website receive a major redesign and overhaul, with better video streaming, HD videos, more information and translation into Arabic, Korean and Russian, with more translations coming later in 2012 through our unique Licensing Scheme.

We've introduced some of the greatest hairdressers in the world to our members, from Tim Hartley to Josh Wood and featured exclusive interviews with Vidal Sassoon, Guido Palau and many more inspirational hair professionals, all willing to share their insights, tips and philosophies with our dedicated audience. We've been backstage at London Fashion Week, worked with colleges and at international trade events and travelled the globe from London to Russia to Australia.

MyHairDressers.com is now the largest online resource of hairdressing training videos in the world, covering everything from the basics to advanced and creative techniques, from editorial and catwalk hair to barbering and shaving. As we progress into 2012, we'll continue to map our content to the world's educational curriculum to ensure students and tutors continue to receive the best possible information, while for those interested in continuing education and CPD we'll provide techniques, tips and tutorials to inspire you and build your skill set to ever higher levels.

Stacey Broughton told us, "It's been an amazing four years and I think I've learned as much as any of the members who've joined us on this journey. All of the hairdressers we've worked with on the site have been brilliant and I've made so may lifelong friends along the way. I'm really looking forward to the next four years and with any luck, it'll be one my video that marks the eighth anniversary!"
