MyHairDressers.com has achieved another World first by launching an Arabic version of the website on May 24 2011 at Beautyworld ME, in Dubai. The new site has been built in association with L'Oreal Professionnel. The launch sees the first overseas license of MyHairDressers.com with Dubai based Salon Educators taking control of all subscribers throughout the GCC States of the Kingdom of Bahrain, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and United Arab Emirates.

The new site contains all of the MyHairDressers.com videos and PDFs in English as well as a selection of videos translated in Arabic. L'Oreal Professionnel's latest range of short detailed hairdressing video tutorials have also been added to the site which will be distributed throughout the region to over 4,000 L'Oreal Professionnel associated salons as well as being available to subscribers throughout the region.

The three companies will jointly launch the new site on Tuesday May 24 2011 at Beautyworld Middle East, with live hair demonstrations from MyHairDressers.com contributors Steve Turner and Callam Warrington over the course of the three day exhibition in association with Epoc Messe Frankfurt.

Mark Butcher, CEO of MyHairDressers.com told us, "MyHairDressers.com was the first subscription based online hairdressing training website three and a half years ago, and now it is the the first to offer that same hairdressing training in two languages. This new MyHairDressers.com License with Salon Educators brings new opportunities for hairdressers in the region to maximise their learning potential by gaining a deeper understanding of our content in a language they understand. Working with L'Oreal Professionnel on this project allows us to maintain our independence while working with a commercial partner with the ambition, foresight and vision to embrace and support our unique approach to hairdressing education and to further expand our reach within individual territories. This first License is just the beginning and we are preparing more in other countries and territories to truly take this site global and bring affordable education to as many hairdressers as possible."

Deborah Whitehead, Education Director of Salon Educators said, "MyHairDressers.com is recognised as the best hairdressing education website in the world, and this License allows us to market that education at a local level directly to hairdressers in the region. The hairdressing training site is a perfect fit with our City & Guilds IVQ courses in our new Academy in Dubai and will be used in the Academy as a teaching aid in addition to being available to hairdressers throughout the UAE and GCC region."

Peter Tighe, General Manager, Professional Division, Middle East at L’Oreal, said: “This initiative aims to put the spotlight on the fantastic and rewarding career that hairdressing can be. L’Oreal Professionnel is proud to work with MyHairDressers.com and Salon Educators to help professional hairdressers to achieve their dreams and this will be a ground-breaking event for the industry.  Together we will strive to create more opportunities to help professional hairdressers excel at their job.”
