MyHairDressers.com is extremely proud to introduce a free interview featuring Guido Palau, interviewed by John Vial. Guido discusses his early career in hairdressing and how, following being fired from Vidal Sassoon in London, he went on to work with some of the greatest names in fashion.
His big break came in the early 1990s when he worked with photographer David Simms and a young model calledKate Moss bringing an anti supermodel aesthetic to fashion and playing a major role in creating the Grunge look. Despite this he still worked with George Michael and film director David Fincher on the Freedom 90 video, styling supermodels Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington, Tatjana Patitz, Cindy Crawford.
This section of the video ends with Guido discussing his first fashion show in 1994 for Calvin Klein. The rest is, as they say, history.
