Callam Warrington's Couture Spherical Dressing Mood Film demonstrates how an avant garde session shape may be used in an editorial multimedia context. The piece that Callam filmed with model Caitlin began with a pair of ponytails in the front and placed around the head in opposite directions and stitched. Ten packs of Afro hair extensions were fed and stitched through and around the ponytails, to produce a huge and fun “Kinky Afro” style. “This is great for shows,” said Callam, “it’s more couture than the Crimped Structure and is perfect for stage and catwalk shows.”
