Wrap Blow Dry
Blow Dry Basic
Stacey begins with the internal root direction first, 2-3 cm from the scalp and moves the hair from side to side with the dryer working down the hair shaft in and out of the root area. This ensures that the roots are lifted a little - an important starting stage of any blow-dry method. This stage includes the perimeter shape in the nape, behind the ear and fringe and also dries some of the mid-length areas depending on the hair thickness.
Stacey then defines this perimeter shape by working the hair over the rubber barrel of the brush, again with the dryer facing down the hair shaft. Along with the correct product use, this will ensure a smooth cuticle. The technique is then worked into the internal shape, up and around the longer lengths. This is an essential video to learn the effectiveness of proper brush choice and blow-dryer handling.
